Completed in 2023, Seraya represents the first affordable housing development of its kind delivered within the local government area in more than 14 years. Conceived as a Build-to-Rent community, the project demonstrates how thoughtful design, planning and development can create high-quality homes while expanding housing opportunities in sought-after urban locations.
Designed by Benson McCormack Architecture, with landscape architecture by Matthew Higginson Landscape Architecture and planning by GSA Planning, Seraya balances architectural refinement with exceptional liveability. Defined by clean, bold lines, expansive glazing and carefully considered interiors, each residence is filled with natural light and designed to foster a strong connection to its leafy surroundings.

Located on one of Sydney's busiest arterial roads, the project required innovative planning and construction solutions to create a tranquil residential environment while increasing the allocation of affordable housing to 45% of the development's 20 apartments. The result is a highly successful residential community that was fully leased and 100% occupied within weeks of completion.
Seraya stands as an important contribution to Sydney's housing landscape, proving that affordability, design excellence and commercial success can coexist within a premium residential address.
